Tomorrow... The Real Labor Day

I went home this weekend for Labor Day... now I'm back

How dare you judge me.

Umm, I can't tell if you're making a joke of some sort, but did you know that yesterday was Memorial Day, not Labor Day?

Crap... I've never been good with the smaller holidays… and no, I'm not trying to undermine the brave men and women who sacrificed so much to preserve our freedom… I’m just an incredibly selfish person who is much better at remembering holidays that involve gifts or hollow chocolate bunnies (I hate the solid ones [and yes, there is a deeper issue here]).

I’m an idiot.

How dare you judge me…

Melody,

Memorial Day, which has a history stretching back all the way to the Civil War, is an important reminder of those who died in the service of their country.

Thanks for drawing my fire.

As to the solid bunnies... how did you keep them from almost breaking your teeth and becoming a sticky mess before you finished them?

I was personally always overwhelmed by any chocolate bunny, hollow or otherwise. I prefer the holiday-colored M&Ms.

Doug, is it somehow telling that you have more to say about other people's live than you do about you own?

By the way this is my favorite of your posts because not only are you wrong but you admit it. I very seldom hear that.
